Privacy notice
How VGM handles the details you share with us through this website. Last updated 22 September 2026.
Who we are
VGM is a trading name of Box Box Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17103444. Our registered office is 141 Chase Side, Enfield, EN2 0PN, United Kingdom. Box Box Media Ltd is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@vgmlondon.com.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number, the topic you need help with, how you prefer to be contacted, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your email.
Why we use it
We use these details to reply to your enquiry, to arrange a conversation or demo, and, if we go on to work together, to provide our services and manage our working relationship. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.
Our lawful basis
We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and, where you ask us about working together, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Once we work together, we rely on performing that contract and on our legal obligations, such as keeping accounting records.
Who else handles your details
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run this website and our email. Our website and its enquiry form are hosted by Netlify, which stores form submissions on our behalf. Our email is provided by Microsoft. These providers may store data outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where they do, they are required to protect it with safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. The fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to us working together, we delete it within 12 months. If you become a client, we keep your details for as long as we work together and then for up to six years, because we are required to keep business and accounting records for that long.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this notice and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to ask us to restrict or stop using it, and to object to how we use it. To make a request, email info@vgmlondon.com. We will reply within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
